The 2014 Commonwealth Games in Glasgow was one of the biggest sporting events ever to take place in Scotland. As one of the official Team Scotland photographers, Jeff Holmes had special access to the occasion ... and used it to good effect as this slideshow demonstrates.

Katriona Bush, Head of Media and Communications at Team Scotland Media, summed up Jeff's contribution by saying: "Jeff Holmes played a key role in Team Scotland’s communications campaign in the 18 months up to the Glasgow 2014 Commonwealth Games. From PR shoots to stunning sports action photography, Jeff captured the essence of our participation in the Games.
